How much to draw for your desired dose
U-100 syringes have 100 units per 1 mL. So 0.05 mL = 5 units, 0.10 mL = 10 units. The tick marks on most insulin syringes represent 1 or 2 units each.
1 mg = 1,000 mcg. So 250 mcg = 0.25 mg, and 500 mcg = 0.5 mg. Most peptide doses are discussed in micrograms (mcg).
Adding more BAC water creates a lower concentration, which means you draw more liquid per dose. This makes tiny doses easier to measure accurately.
Reconstituted peptides in BAC water last 28–30 days refrigerated at 2–8°C. Sterile water solutions should be used within 24–48 hours. Never freeze reconstituted peptides.
